Understanding a Green Mortgage
Home ownership which supports the environment can achieved by obtaining a Green Mortgage. Green Mortgages support broader emissions targets by encouraging families to invest in energy efficient homes by providing borrowers with lower interest rates. In this way, investing in an energy efficient home can save you money when you borrow and on your utility bills.
To be eligible for a Green Mortgage, the home must hold a Building Energy Rating (BER) of B3 or higher. You will be eligible with the purchase of any home in Castle Park as all our homes have a minimum BER A2 rating.
